Well there is official release dates for the Canon 50D and Nikon D90 in Canada! I say its going to be a pretty interesting release date as they are the same. Really hard to say who is coming is going to have a better product. As both cameras don’t really compete against each other. Sept 19/08 is the date in Canada for the cameras.

A fellow coworker gave me a pair a of tix to go see one of the biggest match up in the CFL at the moment. Edmonton Eskimos vs Saskatchewan Roughriders. I couldn’t believe that i have a extra ticket and could not give this ticket away! Called and msg 30 ppl seeing if they would like to come with me….sadly no So i’m going to rub it in my friends faces that didn’t want to come! And for everyone else enjoy the pix!!!

Once again there was a good old GT racing@Race City! I haven’t been to a GT race in 1 yr! It was great to be back! Seems like there was so many more cars this year. A lot more high end cars. 2 more porsche teams, NSX, more open wheel cars, and very nice vintage cars!

That was the theme of the weekend. Vintage cars in August! Since i was part of the Novice lapping session i got a fancy T-shirt, poster, and key chain!

One more thing…A REAL GT-40 was the pace car for the vintage race!!! OMG!!!

Here is a video side by side comparsion of the Bridgestones RE-01R vs RE-11 on the same track(Tsukuba) with the same driver(Keichi Tsuchiya) . You can see that the RE-11 is a faster tire by 1.04 secs! Still no word on when the RE-11 is going to come to North America, but it shows lots of promise. The street tire battle is just warming up!
