Looks like the firmwares are just flying out now for the 5D MKII! Here is the newest 2.0.7. fixing a few problems:

This firmware update (Version 2.0.7) incorporates the following improvements and fixes.

Fixes a phenomenon in which the aperture exhibits abnormal movement when shooting movies in manual exposure mode and Aperture Priority AE (Av mode) using some Canon lenses (such as macro lenses).
Fixes a phenomenon in which the exposure level shown in the LCD panel differs from what is shown in the viewfinder when shooting still images in manual exposure mode.
Fixes a phenomenon in which the Wireless File Transmitter (WFT-E4 or WFT-E4 II) may not automatically power off when used for FTP transfers.
These phenomenon only occur with the Version 2.0.4 and Version 2.0.3 firmware.

The Version 2.0.7 firmware being released this time is for cameras with firmware up to Version 2.0.4. If the camera’s firmware is already Version 2.0.7, it is not necessary to update the firmware.

This amazing video by Spacecraft Films shows the July 16, 1969 launch of the Apollo 11 mission that landed the first humans on the moon. The camera was rolling at a whopping 500 frames per second, allowing the first 30 seconds of the launch to be slowed down into this 8-minute narrated video of pure awesomeness.

Wow can you believe how much Canon’s HD-SLR’s have made a impact in the world of video. BMW using the 5D MKII to shoot there latest commerical for Sebring Race. There was some gear mishap as 5D MKII was lost in the filming of this commercial:

Apparently one of BMW’s professional drivers, Dirk Muller, was being too aggressive while following the other M3 and accidentally rammed a Canon 5D Mark II and lens into the rear of the car. The poor camera and lens were splattered all over the Sebring track.

Here is a true dedicated fan to the Tron movie as he has freshen up the original movie to have a modern look! Heck yah!!!

Just a huge fan of this movie. Wanted to make a exciting trailer with a modern feel as oppose to its original marketing in the 80s. I hope people will give this movie a try before they see Tron Legacy. Sure its dated but there was practically nothing like it in the day, especially 1982. Hope you folks like this fan edit and do check out the film before the sequel comes out. Also rate comment subscribe if you like what you see. Thank you for watching!!

Well sorry for the lack of updates as i’ve been extremely busy with work! Here is the latest thing that i’ve been really looking into…RAW Editors! So here i’ve got 3 different RAW editors:

Adobe Camera Raw 5.6 (current editor)
Adobe Lightroom 3 Beta (consideration)
Capture One 5 Pro (consideration)

I know there is other programs out there, but i didn’t have the time to go through all of them!

I have a image that i put though each of the 3 editors with all there respected defaults. You can see how each of the 3 RAW engines produce photo.
