Recently in the Android community Eugene373(to my knowledge) was first to reach new speeds in HTC Dream(Qualcomm MSM 7201A 528 MHz processor) without the Dream melting your hands. Now many are trying to implement the new speeds into there Roms, a few are reaching the 1GHz speeds! Can’t wait to see what is the new current stable roms are going to be set at! Do I want a Nexus One anymore?

I think this is a bit better release than Canon had today, with the Rebel. Nikon brings out 2 new lenses that could really bit into the Canon camp. I’m sure that the 16-35mm f4 VR is better than the Canon offering, and 24mm f1.4 well hard to say until reviews are out for this lens. None the less though new lenses are great! Well here we go folks, NeutralDay Community has direct comparison between 2 flag ship cameras from the 2 major companies, Canon 1D MK4 vs Nikon D3s! From the pictures you can see that the Nikon is just a better performer in the low light. Nikon has perfected the 12MP range. Seems like the MK4 is pretty noisy from the images that were posted vs D3s, but the 5D MK2 files are better looking than the MK4? This is first comparison i’ve seen so far, i’m sure more are to come! The good people over at Imaging Resource have done there full in-depth review of the Canon 7D! Could Canon compete with the King of Prosumer, Nikon’s D300/D300s? Your going to have to click and find out! Review after the jump.

Overall, the Canon 7D’s image quality is impressive, as are its printed results. It compares almost evenly to its competition at ISO 1,600, both from Canon and Nikon, but as expected there’s a noticeable difference when we compare this APS-C sensor to its full-frame rivals the Canon 5D and Nikon D3x, both of which earn the extra money their makers charge. Remembering that the Canon 7D costs quite a bit less than these full-frame cameras brings it back into perspective. In the end, the Canon 7D gives you a little more detail than its 15 and 12-megapixel competition, while maintaining impressively low noise, even at the highest ISOs.

Just Released Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS II!

Well here we go folks, what all knew was going to happen! Canon has just released the brand new 70-200 F2.8 II! Woot! Exciting!

Along with its redesigned optical elements, the new lens design features improved AF speed due to a new focusing algorithm and has reduced the minimum focusing distance to 3.9 feet (1.2 meters) through the entire zoom range, allowing photographers to capture tighter portraiture shots in a small studio space. The previous lens model’s minimum focusing distance was 4.6 feet (1.4 meters), whereas now photographers can stand nearly 8 inches closer to their subject and achieve sharp focus and tight crops. Canon has also enhanced the Image Stabilization allowing it to compensate for shutter speeds up to four steps slower than 1/focal length, a one step improvement over the previous lens model.
